 The "Strawberry Moon" is the name given to the full moon in June, a tradition originating with Native American tribes in North America. It's not actually pink or reddish, but rather its name refers to the time of year when strawberries ripen and are ready to be picked. This full moon is particularly noticeable because it's one of the lowest-hanging moons of the year due to the Earth's orbit.
