Whisk in the sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth Combine: Pour the custard mixture directly over the pecans in the pie crust. The pecans will naturally float toward the top as it bakes Place the pie in the oven and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. The edges should be set, but the center should still have a slight jiggle.
